The gluten-free Catering List gives details on products available in catering sizes that are in accordance with the new revised Codex Standard. It is available free of charge and updates are circulated throughout the year.

The 2010 edition of the Catering List covers a large range of catering foods for hotels and restaurants distributed through Pallas Foods, as well as a range of foods under the Musgrave Excellence Brand - all gluten-free.

It also features:

  • Gluten-free Dietary Food brands, with contact details for suppliers,
  • Chef, Unilever, Nestle & Kraft Catering items that are gluten-free,
  • A gluten-free bakeries section,
  • Range of gluten-free scooping ice creams for restaurants, cafés, shops, ice cream vans etc.,
  • A list of gluten-free flours for bakeries and restaurants.

The Catering List also provides advice on legislation - both Allergen Directive & EC gluten-free labelling legislation, and also advice on gluten-free pure uncontaminated oats for the hospitals and nursing homes.

The 2010 Catering List is due at the beginning of June and will be available to anyone in the food industry on request. Manufacturers/Caterers or anyone in the hospitality industry can request a PDF copy by email from coeliacmanulist@eircom.net or a printed copy by sending an A5/C5 stamped addressed envelope (€1.50 in stamps) to the office.
