- Thursday 13th May
- 3.30 PM - 4.30 PM
Combing the natural world and our inner creative spirit. This class is based around the concept of pattern and mindful colouring. How getting lost in a pattern can calm us. It is also excellent for encouraging creativity when we have creative blocks. Each participant will collect leaves (or they can print out leaf templates that are emailed to them) and inside each leaf they create a zentangle pattern as seen below.
We talk about negative and positive space. About how the absence of colour in our leaves makes them stand out even more. How the negative space in art is a good thing. How artists use it to draw your eye to something. We also talk about creative blocks, the power of a good doodle! And just taking time to be creative

Feeding your Mental Health

How you eat can have a huge impact on how you feel, how much you eat and even the types of foods you choose. For some people, food is a real pleasure to be enjoyed. For others, food is just fuel and something to get out of the way before moving on to the next thing. But whether you are a lover or a survivor, learning to pay a little more attention to how you eat may be of more benefit than you expect.
