
Pitta Pizza
A very quick , flavorsome and adaptable dish , add any topping you choose.
Ingredients
- 4 gluten free pitta breads
- 8 tablespoons of passata
- ¼ teaspoon of mixed herbs or oregano
- Pinch of Salt and pepper
- 2 roasted red peppers (from a jar) (sliced)
- 2 small red onions peeled and sliced.
- 8 button mushrooms sliced.
- 100g of grated cheddar cheese
- 120g of good quality cooked ham (diced)
Method
1. Toast the pittas in the toaster, then lay them on a non -stick grill tray.
2. Mix the passata, with herbs and seasoning. Spoon the passata onto each of the pittas.
3. Top this with sliced mushrooms and onions. Then the peppers and ham and finish off with cheese.
4. Put under the grill on a low heat for 10 mins
