Hi all,

Going for another colonoscopy in October and was wondering if anyone had any advice for coping with the preparation needed. I’ve been prescribed Moviprep like the last two times. Hate, hate it and spend lots of time getting sick taking it

Anyone used anything easier or have advice on how to cope best with it please? They found and removed polyps last time so really important I do it right and am looking at pretty regular tests now so hoping to find a better way of doing this 🙄

I know this is a little late, but for any future colonoscopy

Picolax is the only way to go 😉 – Insist on getting Picolax, they say it does not give a good prep, but it does. People have taken this rather than what was prescribed and post colonoscopy their prep was described as excellent.

You take it with a glass of water, then later on your you take it again with a glass of water, but drink plenty of fluids

Million times better than taking 4 litres with moviprep/kleanPrep
